Originally from London, Ontario, Wes Crawford relocated to Halifax in 2019 and soon decided to pursue law. He earned his J.D. (2024) at the Schulich School of Law after completing a B.A. in Jazz Studies at St. Francis Xavier University. His Work with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic was formative, giving Wes a front-row view of how legal help can be delivered in a way that feels approachable and human,
Wes articled with Preszler and became an associate after his call to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2025. Clients appreciate his mix of straightforward, honest communication and zealous advocacy. This style aims to demystify the process while pressing for strong outcomes.
Away from work, Wes is often outdoors on Nova Scotia’s trails and beaches, active in Halifax’s squash and bouldering communities, and still close to his music roots as a devoted jazz listener.
