Matthew J.M. Gibbon
Personal Injury Lawyer
Matthew J.M. Gibbon is a Halifax-born personal injury lawyer who has spent the past decade focused on helping injured people understand their rights and pursue the compensation they deserve. A graduate of Dalhousie University with both a B.A. in political science and an LL.B., he is known for breaking down complex issues into clear, practical advice and staying closely connected with clients as their cases move forward.
Matthew has appeared before Nova Scotia’s Provincial Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and the WCB Appeals Tribunal, and has extensive experience in mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution processes. His advocacy is hands-on and persistent, aimed at ensuring his clients’ positions are heard and taken seriously at every stage.
Approachable and responsive, Matthew makes a point of being available by phone or email so clients never feel left in the dark. This mindset is reflected in his invitation to “Have a Chat with Matt’” to discuss options at the outset.
