Jocelyn Rose Brogan brings an East Coast perspective and a decade of insurance defence experience to her plaintiff-focused work with Preszler Injury Lawyers. Raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, she completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Acadia University before earning her law degree in Queensland, Australia. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 and the Nova Scotia bar in 2011.
Before joining Preszler, Jocelyn Rose practiced for over ten years as an insurance defence litigator in Toronto. Working closely with insurers on complex liability and coverage matters gave her a detailed understanding of how they assess risk, litigate claims, and approach settlement. She now applies that insight exclusively on behalf of injured individuals, using it to build stronger cases and pursue resolutions that are fair, practical, and meaningful for her clients.
Her commitment to the profession includes frequent writing on litigation and occupiers’ liability issues, with work published in outlets such as The Lawyer’s Daily and Mondaq. Outside of advocacy, Jocelyn Rose enjoys CrossFit and spending time with her partner and their daughter.
