Over the course of his career, Alon Barda has built a reputation as a formidable litigator and thoughtful strategist in personal injury law. He joined Preszler Injury Lawyers in July 2023, after more than a decade as a partner at a leading downtown Toronto insurance defence firm, and now acts exclusively for injured individuals. Called to the Ontario bar in 2012, Alon draws on extensive experience on both sides of the courtroom to guide complex claims involving serious injuries.

Alon has deep familiarity with how insurers approach file handling, risk, settlement, and statutory accident benefits, including catastrophic claims. That insight, earned through years defending insurers, now informs his plaintiff practice and allows him to anticipate and respond to defence strategy with precision. He is known as a fearless advocate, having appeared at all levels of court in Ontario. He has frequent experience litigating before the Licence Appeal Tribunal and before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. His record includes acting as lead counsel in a 26-week complex personal injury trial, described as one of the longest such actions in the province.

Widely published, Alon regularly contributes articles and legal commentary to respected legal publications. Away from advocacy, he can usually be found at home either hiding from-or happily being chased by-his five children.
