Farzad Balandari

Farzad Balandari is a lawyer with the firm. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Economics, from the University of British Columbia, and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria.
During law school, Farzad completed a co-op placement with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, where he gained experience in regulatory matters. In his final semester, he worked at the University of Victoria Law Centre, providing legal representation to clients in Victoria who could not afford counsel, with a focus on family and criminal law matters.
Following his return to Vancouver, Farzad articled with Preszler Law and now practices as an associate with the firm. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia on contested chambers applications and trials.
Farzad maintains a broad litigation practice and has experience advancing a wide range of complex claims, including occupiers’ liability matters, claims against municipalities, historic assault cases, assault claims arising from incidents involving security personnel and bouncers, and product liability claims.
He takes pride in advancing challenging cases and is committed to seeing his clients’ claims through to trial where necessary to achieve the best possible outcome.
Farzad is fluent in Farsi.
Away from the office, Farzad enjoys playing soccer, running, and spending time with his nieces and nephew.
